New Life Bournemouth Team

Pastor Deon & Anna Kruger

Deon and Anna were Bible school sweethearts in Pretoria, South Africa and got married in their final year, before Deon started working as a Chaplain in the SADF for 3 years. After this they served for over 30 years throughout South Africa, planting churches and seeing many lives restored to the Father. Restoration is a key word for both of them. They have a desire to see anything broken or damaged brought back to its full potential.

In 2018 after definite divine leading they followed the call to Cranleigh Community Church. Since then the church has transitioned to New Life Bournemouth.
Deon and Anna are blessed with 3 happily married children and 7 grandchildren.
They are still in love with God, the church and one another.

Colin, a retired Elim minister and Phyllis, a retired teacher have been married for 12 years during which time they have served faithfully in New Life Bournemouth in many different capacities. At present they are involved in our community project as well as the children’s ministry. Colin also serves as a Trustee.

Food for Thought

We are such a privileged people to have a loving Father who speaks to us and shares His heart with us. He does this in many ways but the primary one is through His word. God continues to reveal Himself through the biblical texts, which have enduring spiritual power. When we read the Bible we are reading the very words of God that have potential to teach, correct, train, comfort and encourage. All stuff we need on a daily basis!

Here are a few truths about the Bible :
– It is God’s inspired word – 2 Tim 3:16-17
– It is authoritative – Heb 4:12 -13
– It is trustworthy and without error – 2 Tim 2:15
– It is sufficient for all we need – Rom 15:4
– It is to be obeyed – John 14:21

Obedience to the scriptures is obedience to God. There are so many voices and opinions in the world today. There is however, no higher authority than the word of God and the reward for obedience is peace and joy. Peace in our minds because we know we’re doing what our Lord desires, and joy in our hearts because we experience freedom from the constraints and intimidations the world throws at us. As Jesus said “you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”

Maybe you’d like to make a list of some verses that are applicable to a situation you’re struggling with at the moment. Reading the word out loud and confessing it over your situation is a powerful way to speak life and bind the works of the enemy.

Many blessings to you and may you experience the presence of God as you make time to read His word today.
